Reiki possesses an intuitive intelligence; the practitioner is simply a conduit. Yet, despite the skeptical society we find ourselves in, this modality has been embraced due to its potential for incredible effects. The dissipation of chronic pain, the alleviation of insomnia and the relief from anxiety are just a few of the benefits. These symptoms are treated through spiritually guided life force energy, with overall balance being the intention. Some people experience instantaneous relief, but more often the changes come with time in a beautifully subtle way.
Maryam Hasnaa once said that 'A healer does not heal you. A healer is someone who holds space for you while you awaken your inner healer, so that you may heal yourself'. The healing properties of Reiki and Cannabidiol (CBD) share many similarities.
The human body has an important physiological system called the endogenous cannabinoid system (ECS) which works within our nervous system, organs, immune cells, tissues and glands. One of its tasks is taking in and deciphering signals it receives from naturally occurring endocannabinoids in our body. The major goal is homeostasis. Balance. When CBD is ingested, it guides the ECS to utilize its own endocannabinoids in a more effective way.
As time goes on and progress is made in the world of medicinal herbs, the door is opening for people to choose their method of care. Alternative medicine, energy medicine and other modalities are rising to the occasion.

I am looking forward to incorporating CBD specific products from Healing Tree into my care plans. This will be for clients who seek to expand upon their options.
